Our journey began in 1978 as a small, family-run restaurant in Cornwall with a simple mission: to serve honest, comforting food that brings people together. Word spread quickly, and Cornwall BBQ soon became the go-to destination for local families, workers, and students seeking the best BBQ and pizza in Eastern Ontario.

As Cornwall has grown, so have we! But our values remain unchanged. We still slow-cook our BBQ and craft our pizzas exactly the way our founders intended: with meticulous attention to detail and a deep respect for the flavors our customers have loved for decades. I Was in Cornwall for work and was referred by many people to come check out Cornwall BBQ. Im so glad that I did. I got the quarter breast & half rack meal. The chicken was cooked perfect and so were the ribs. Under $40 (tip included) for a nice meal, beer, and homemade rice pudding. 110% recommend !

I received delivery. My delivery was pretty quick, and the employees I interacted with were very polite. I ordered pizza and a chicken leg dinner. The pizza was very mediocre. The chicken, however, was very delicious. The fries were very good, and the sauce was okay (could have used more seasoning). The sauce was clearly house made, which was nice.

Great local restaurant! Friendly service!
If you are looking for a quick and familiar meal, you will find it here. The Bar B Q chicken is good. The Greek salad tastes more like an Italian salad, yet fresh. And the chicken rice soup is slightly too salty. The chocolate-praline cake is a restaurant standard. Overall, it was a good meal.

I haven't been there since pre-pandemic. My memory from then was good. The same meal that I had then was 12.00, it was 19.00 today. Half chicken, huge amount of fries, a dipping sauce, coleslaw, a bowl of chicken noodle soup, a slice of bread and a pkg. of crackers. My husband had a small meatlovers pizza for 19.50. It was loaded with toppings. The waitress was efficent and friendly. Granted, the decor could be over hauled(it has a 60s feel). The owner was pleasant. The chicken was rotiserie which was nice and moist & flavorful and the fries were fresh and perfectly fried. If you aren't a stuffed shirt, and are just regular folks like us, you'll enjoy it.

I called earlier today and the lady employee who answered was so kind to put some soup aside for me to be picked up by my daughter and hubby. When I just opened the bag this note was on the top. Thank you. Such a simple gesture means the world to me.

Ended up there for lunch today cause I made a wrong turn . Was looking for a place to have lunch and food this mom and pop place and happy I did.
Sandy was an excellent server who made us feel at home . I ordered the bake spaghetti and loved the bolognese sauce . Everything was perfect , so happy I made that wrong turn cause I would have probably ended up at a fast food place and regretted it later .

Love their place. Absolute love their fish and chips, pizzas and their apple pies and pumpkin pies. Not to mention their garlic breads are absolutely heavenly.

Being from Montreal, this was our first time at Cornwall BBQ.
The reason we tried it was because the parking lot was full and it was only 16:45hrs.
when we walked in we were brought back in time to the 70's.
Place is clean and a lot of memorabilia on the walls, from sports, and Rotary Club.
My wife and I both ordered chicken, she, a leg, and myself a breast. Perfectly cooked and served a top a slice of white bread.
The fries are frozen type, but very good, the cole slaw is made in house, and the BBQ sauce is amazing. Dinner included soup and dessert which we did not have.

A friend and I went there tonight on Christmas Eve and the service we had from Sandy was excellent, heartwarming and very entertaining. We would definitely go back there as the food and everything including the service on a busy night was just fantastic!
